MALAYALAM CINEMA IN 2022 Many, including me, strongly believe that the best films in India are made from Mollywood. Year after year, Malayalam cinema surprises the audience in many ways. So I had a lot of expectations for 2022. Majority of the movies that were released in 2022 met my expectations. Many lead actors including Mohanlal, Mammootty, Prithviraj, Tovino and directors of Mollywood tried their level best to make this year their career best and most of them succeeded. Some of the movies that I likes in 2022 are: HRIDAYAM Hridayam stands top in my favorite movie list that was released in 2022. I had high expectations since the movie was announced and it met those expectations. This coming of age romantic drama film was written and directed by Vineeth Shreenivasan starring Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Darshana Rajendran. Music composed by Heesham Abdul Wahab uplifted the whole mood of the film. The movie was released worldwide in theatres on 21 January 20
